Design the factory of the future
An important subject of our project, the factory architecture. Place perfectly the workstations within the Factory to reach a perfect production, energy saving, these are important issues of the Factory of the future.
The « Smart factory design » working group has to work in close collaboration with the « Flow process management » work package.
Activities
Global Factory layout
- Imagine a futurist plant;
- Optimize the layout of the factory for a maximum productivity;
- Design of every zone of the factory (entry/exit, raw material arrival, storage space…);
- Think about the energy efficiency, environmental footprint and introduce renewable energies;
- Get back the different workstations and place them within the factory.
